Providing compassionate, certified ISR instruction focused on helping infants and young children develop confidence, independence, and life-saving water safety skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Founded in 1966 by Dr. Harvey Barnett, Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) is now the global leader in the industry it pioneered: survival swimming lessons for infants and young children. Our team of more than 1,000 Certified ISR Instructors in more than 20 countries provides the safest and most effective survival swimming lessons available. The ISR Self-Rescue instruction our students receive today is the product of more than 50 years of research and development and has resulted in more than 15 million safe lessons worldwide.
ISR believes that pool fences, supervision, and pool alarms are important parts of a necessary multi-layered approach to drowning prevention. However, traditional lines of defense break down, and the over 4,000 drowning deaths per year bear a grim testament to the fact that traditional approaches are missing a key component: the child. ISR’s core conviction is that the child is the most important part of a drowning prevention strategy.
Children are curious, capable, and have an uncanny ability to overcome obstacles like pool fences; at ISR we take that ability and teach them skills to potentially save themselves if they find themselves in the water alone.
After moving to South Florida, I became more aware of the prevalence of drowning for infants & toddlers in the United States – especially in our local community where drowning is the #1 cause of death. Coincidentally at the same time, a dear friend introduced me to ISR. This ignited my passion for making a difference in these daunting statistics and gave me an avenue to execute it.
After witnessing the ISR lessons’ fantastic results, I felt compelled to help parents experience what I had. I was so impressed with ISR’s technique & its philosophy that I decided to become an ISR Instructor.
It is absolutely amazing to see an infant confidently roll onto their back, float, and breathe until help arrives. I get chills every time a student not only nails their swim-float-swim sequence but also learns to LOVE the water. It warms my heart to help older students work through the fear of getting their faces wet and watch them fearlessly jump off the side of my pool to swim and float for fun and safety. Often when other swim programs have not worked specifically for them.
There is water everywhere here in South Florida. We need to prepare our children with the skills required to survive in & around the water. Teaching children and helping them become competent in their skills in the water is so important to me that teaching these lessons is not a task for me; it is my calling and passion.
I would be thrilled to meet you and teach your child!

There are many instructors who say they teach ISR techniques, however, unless they are listed on the ISR Instructor locator on the official ISR website and meet the criteria below, they are NOT Certified ISR Instructors.
All Certified ISR Instructors:
Clothing experiences are a thoughtfully curated and essential part of the Aqua Angels journey, introduced once your child is confidently and consistently demonstrating their foundational swim and float skills.
These sessions are reserved for the final phase of lessons, when children are ready to gently expand their abilities and experience the water in a more real-world way. During this time, your child will practice in progressively layered clothing—from light, everyday summer attire to slightly heavier seasonal outfits—allowing them to adapt with ease and confidence.
Because most unexpected water entries happen fully clothed, these experiences are invaluable. Clothing changes buoyancy, movement, and sensation in the water, and learning to navigate this—calmly and efficiently—creates a deeper level of true skill and awareness.
Within our warm, supportive, and highly guided environment, children develop lasting muscle memory, emotional confidence, and the ability to remain composed and capable—no matter the situation. It is a powerful and meaningful step in preparing your child for real-life safety, while continuing to build strength, independence, and grace in the water.
Our customers trust Aqua Angels LLC for compassionate instruction, proven swim safety techniques, and the confidence their children gain in the water. Families love seeing their little swimmers grow safer, stronger, and more independent with every lesson.

She has worked with both of our boys over the past three years, and we’ve continued coming back because of the knowledge, confidence, and skills she’s helped them build. She truly transformed them from scared and unsure swimmers into confident, capable kids in the water, which has been amazing to watch as a caregiver. From the very beginning, Allison was warm, supportive, and reassuring. Her patience with each child is unmatched, and it’s clear that she genuinely cares about every student she teaches. Nothing really prepares you for the initial tears or hesitation, but once your child gets through that barrier, it is absolutely worth it for their safety and confidence. Now, both of our boys get excited to swim with Allison and genuinely look forward to their lessons. We feel so grateful to have found Aqua Angels LLC here in Boca Raton. Our 17-month-old daughter has been taking lessons with certified instructor Allison Hult, and it has truly been one of the best decisions we’ve made as parents. From day one, Allison made us feel comfortable and supported. She is incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely cares about every child she works with. Watching our little one learn through the Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Self-Rescue™ program has been both emotional and empowering. Seeing her confidently roll onto her back to float, rest, and breathe on her own gives us such peace of mind. These lessons are about so much more than swimming — they’re about safety, confidence, and giving our daughter a life-saving skill at such a young age. We couldn’t recommend Aqua Angels LLC more highly. If I could give more than five stars to Ms. Allison, I absolutely would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finding the right ISR instructor after relocating from Tampa to Boca Raton felt overwhelming. Our baby girl had learned to float at just 6 months old in Tampa, and I honestly didn’t think we could find someone who could match that experience, but Ms. Allison exceeded every expectation. Ms. Allison is truly the kindest person you will ever meet. From the very first lesson, she welcomed our little one with warmth, hugs, and so much genuine love. You can immediately feel that she cares deeply about every child she teaches. She’s not only incredibly knowledgeable and wise when it comes to ISR and water safety, but she also has a calm confidence that reassures both children and parents. What makes her even more special is that she’s a mom of two herself. She understands families. She understands the emotions, the nerves, the tears, and the triumphs. She always has your back as a parent and takes the time to explain progress, challenges, and next steps. That empathy makes all the difference. Her teaching style is the perfect balance — playful and nurturing, yet structured and focused. She knows when to be gentle and when to encourage just a little more effort. When we started, our daughter initially cried during lessons (as many little ones do), but Ms. Allison handled it with such patience and reassurance. Little by little, our daughter gained confidence. What once brought tears soon brought smiles — and eventually, she started asking for “more!” Ms. Allison beautifully transitioned our daughter from a rollback-to-float position into a confident little swimmer performing “swim-float-swim.” Watching that progression has been nothing short of amazing. Now, at almost 17 months old, our girl LOVES jumping into Ms. Allison’s pool and showing off her skills. The confidence she has gained in the water is priceless. If you are looking for a swim instructor in Boca Raton who combines expertise, love, patience, and professionalism — Ms. Allison is the one. We are beyond grateful for everything she has done for our family. Thank you, Ms. Allison, for keeping our little one safe and helping her grow into such a confident swimmer! 💙Posted on Google Pinky MejiasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t recommend Allison enough! My baby just started back with her after a 3 month stop and she is getting so comfortable with the water so quickly, apart from wanting to hug Allison all class. She is sweet but strict at the same time and I see how other kids bravely swim with her and I can’t wait for my baby to get there! She has improved so much in such little time! 10/10Posted on Google Thereza MorrisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We absolutely LOVE Allison with Aqua Angels! I truly cannot say enough amazing things about her. She has the sweetest, most natural way of connecting with children and building a rapport that instantly makes them feel safe and comfortable in the water. That kind of trust is everything when it comes to teaching little ones to swim, and Allison does it effortlessly. ISR is the only swim method I personally believe in, and watching how quickly my boys learned under her instruction just confirmed that for me. The confidence and skills they gained in such a short amount of time were incredible. Most importantly, they felt secure and supported every single lesson. We have used Allison twice now, once for each of my boys, and they absolutely adore her. She is so family oriented, patient, encouraging, and genuinely one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. You can tell she truly cares about the safety and well being of every child she teaches. Allison is also extremely knowledgeable about everything related to swim safety and ISR. She takes the time to educate parents while making lessons positive and empowering for the kids. Knowing my boys are safer in and around the water because of her gives me such peace of mind. If you are considering swim lessons, I cannot recommend Allison enough.
